Dearly Beloved,

Throughout the summer, Dearly Beloved will feature testimonies from people across our CPC family. There's something powerful about hearing how Jesus has been at work in the lives of those among us, and we hope these stories encourage, challenge, and strengthen your own faith as we celebrate His goodness together! This week we get to hear from Rick & JoAnn Van Herwaarden.
 

A testimony of God’s provision.

We have experienced God’s faithfulness tremendously in our lives. Our start was powerful teaching specifically about servanthood, obedience, and tithing.  Perhaps our greatest strength was recognizing HIS strength is made perfect in weakness, which led us to walk in humility.        

At financially challenging times, we watched firsthand HIS provision. Specifically, at the end of each newly constructed road in our subdivision project, there was discoveries of the exact amount of gravel to proceed. Also, when the weather shut us down for the winter, lot values doubled the next spring. The very acquisition of the land through a court foreclosure attested to his faithfulness. We have been able to bless the next generation and teach of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
