Are you ready to sing this Sunday? (!!!!)

If you didn't get to read the announcement shared by email earlier this week, you can read about the lifting of restrictions on religious groups and our plan for July here

While we've done so well to consider and embrace worship in all it's multifaceted and robust non-singing ways, I know most just can't wait to sing together again this Sunday. Let's never forget that worship isn't just a few songs on a Sunday, but it's a lifestyle of service, caring, beholding, adoration, giving, and helping in devotion to Jesus (Romans 12.1). However, this weekend let's delight deeply in the experience of:

"Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!" Psalm 95.1

While many will look forward to singing together, I want you to anticipate something else important and exciting also beginning this Sunday. This weekend we launch our Summer series from the Gospel of Mark called, Repairing Jesus.

As you prepare for Sunday, why don't you take some time thoughtfully reading Mark 1.1-15.

How does this passage set us up for the story of Jesus in Mark?

What does the Holy Spirit want us to rediscover about Jesus?

As we anticipate this weekend, let's:

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and counselling one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts" Colossians 3.16

Amen!
