Dearly Beloved

Pineapple on pizza?
Early mornings?
Pumpkin pie?

These are the kinds of questions that seem to divide people these days. Of course, those are light-hearted examples — but let’s be honest, our world feels more divided than ever. Whether it's politics, parenting, or culture, the pressure to pick a side is real.

That’s why I love the church.

In the church, we’re called to come together — not because we agree on everything, but because we agree on the most important thing: Jesus. It’s a beautiful and powerful thing when the family of God gathers in unity. We see this clearly in the early church. “They all met together and were constantly united in prayer.” (Acts 1:14)

Prayer was foundational for them — and it still is for us.

This fall, we’ve created two weekly spaces where we can gather in prayer as a church:

  • Monday Mornings | 7:00–8:30 AM (Youth)
Youth students are invited to join us in the fellowship hall for a time of prayer and Bible reading before school. This has been an incredible way for students to start their week — praying for their schools, friends, families, and anything else on their hearts. Teens, we’d love to see you drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time!

  • Wednesday Mornings | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM (All Church)
The church auditorium is open for anyone to come and pray. Whether you're praying quietly on your own, or joining with others in agreement, this time is open for the Spirit to lead. There is something powerful about a church that prays together.

So let’s be that kind of church.
A church that pushes past division, distraction, and busy schedules — and gathers in unity before the throne of God. Whether you're young or old, a morning person or not, seasoned in prayer or just beginning, you are welcome. Come be part of what God is doing as we seek Him together.
